Questions for discussion:

1. What are most understandable reasons to emigrate to another country? Is emigration a natural process in the modern world? Was it a natural process 10, 30, 300 years ago? What factors does emigration depend on?
2. Do you have some relatives or friends who are `there`? What do they think about changes that have happened with them as a result of emigration?
3. However, they write you (your friends) letters or you talk to them by phone. Do you really believe them when they say that the life `there` is better than `here`? Is it not just `outward appearances` but the true? What confirmations of that do you have indeed?
4. Do people who`ve emigrated have actually `nostalgia` for their native country? Is nostalgia a real sensation for them or just an apology (to compatriots or country for leaving them once)?
5. What countries are better for emigration (mainly) and why? Should one choose the best country to live in? What are criteria of your personal choice (or which would be if you wanted to)?
6. What is your spouse`s (husband`s, wife`s) opinion about living in another country? Suppose if you wanted to emigrate but he/she wouldn`t. How could you persuade him or her? On the contrary, if you don`t want to emigrate but your spouse wants how can you dissuade your partner from it?
7. Are you dreaming about a spouse from/in another country? Why? What would you do if it were your aim to marry a foreigner? Would you prefer to find `him or her` here and go abroad after that or is it better to go there firstly?
8. Should we really mix up (take one for another) emigration and traveling?J What is better? In what cases? Is it possible to try both of them in our life? What for? How?
