6) How the meetings in the English Communication Club are organised? About 20-25 guests come every time. 2 or 3 discussions are organised by our Discussion Leader in the first pert before tea-break. From 19:50 to 20:10 there is a tea-break. In the third part there are discussions again, but topics are not prepared beforehand.
7) Are there foreigners in the English Communication Club? Yes, we have foreign guests, but not too often.
8) Is it possible to learn English by visiting English Communication Club? First of all English Communication Club is an opportunity to practice your conversational skills. It is not a teaching program. Typically ECC guests are people who speak English fluently.
9) How well do guests of English Communication Club speak English? In general their English is at a high level.

11) How long has the English Communication Club been existing? The English Communication Club has been existing for three years. English Communication Club was established in the March 2002.
12) What is the entrance fee? The entrance fee is 200 rubles.
13) Is it necessary to bring some cakes for the tea? No, it is not, it is included.
14) How discussions are organized? The topics for every discussion are prepared beforehand. Discussion Leader chooses the topic and prepares questions for this topic. Typically these questions are printed and given to participants. During discussion the duty of Discussion Leader is to ask questions and to give every participant opportunity to speak out. IT IS IMPORTANT that Discussion Leader doesn`t correct mistakes excluding the cases when participants especially ask him/her to do so.
15) Who are Discussion Leaders? Discussion Leaders are actively participating guests of English Communication Club who are ready to prepare topics. Some of them are teachers of English.
16) Are mistakes corrected during discussion? No, because correction could distract participants from the point of discussion.
17) What kind of topics are discussed? Various topics are discussed: recent events, some common ideas and many other topics.
18) Is it possible to find out the topics for discussions beforehand? Yes, it is possible, topics for discussions are always published on this Web-site, on the page ECC Discussions. Besides, it is possible to subscribe.
19) I don`t speak English fluently and I`m afraid that during the first time it would be difficult for me to answer the questions. May I not answer the questions? Yes, you may. You can just tell the Leader that you want to keep silence for some time, and you always can change the Leader.
20)What is necessary to do to join English Communication Club. Is there any preliminary registration? No, there is not. If you want to join English Communication Club v just come and join us.
21) Can I visit English Communication Club is my English is not fluent? Yes, you can. Perhaps you will have some problems for the first time, but you will start speaking in few weeks.
22) Are there any other events at the English Communication Club except Friday meetings? No, there are not.
